The New York Daily News has reported that 12 zoos in the US and Canada are using iPads with their primates.
During 15-30 minutes twice a week, orangutans get to draw, play with apps, and look at images of animals on their tablets. Handlers consider the level of intellectual stimulation similar to giving a child a pop-up book.
